24+ MEXICAN SUNFLOWER TORCH (Tithonia rotundifolia) SEEDS PLUS planting instructions, including color picture for seedling id. Although an annual, these wonderful flowers re-seed themselves freely bringing you even more plants in subsequent years!

Bold and colorful, they draw butterflies and hummingbirds to your garden with vivid fiery-orange 3 wide daisy-like blooms with yellowish centers. A genuine heat lover, Mexican Sunflower sets the dog days of summer ablaze with sizzling orange daisies that are VERY attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. In fact, the number and variety of butterflies on my plants NEVER ceases to amaze me! This is THE BEST NECTAR PLANT I HAVE EVER GROWN!

Unlike other 'sunflowers" that you have grown, these bushes are COVERED WITH MANY flowers throughout the summer months, not just one flower like traditional sunflowers.

A fairly large, bushy plant (if given room, they will get 3 feet across and 5-6 feet tall!!) for the back of the border, a sunflower 'hedge" or mix with Butterfly Weed (check my other items!) to create a butterfly's paradise in your yard! The caterpillars in my garden grow on my Butterfly Weed, then hang their cocoons in my Mexican Sunflowers and feed on their nectar when they emerge - they are perfect compliments!

Tolerates infertile soil, drought, and neglect. Easy for new gardeners and children. Spend some lazy summer afternoons watching the hummingbirds and butterflies that these beautiful flowers attract! Talk about stress relief!
