Tommy Toes are an heirloom salad/cherry tomato with fruits from 1-2 in diameter. They produce abundant fruit on indeterminate vines that can reach 10" - 12" long. Despite their length, they still have a very large stem to support the vines and fruits. These tomatoes have an excellent REAL TOMATO taste - not too sweet, perfect in salads!
For best results, grow on a trellis or other support. From germination to table, 85 - 90 days (some sites list 70 days from transplant, which is really a kind of arbitrary time). These are heat tolerant (which is great for southern gardens!) and disease resistant. Even in Florida, I'm still harvesting tomatoes in the heat of July!
