10 FRESH Dried whole Florida Grove Peppers. There are between 12-18 seeds in each pepper, so you will have well over 100 seeds in total. Planting and growing instructions will be included.

These peppers are so named because in years past they grew between the trees in the citrus groves in Florida apparently 'planted" by passing birds). The grove workers and pickers deliberately left the plants in the groves (rather than weed them out) and used them for cooking. They are perfect seasoning for chili, pickling, relishes, salsa, pico-de-gallo and making your own tabasco-like sauces, including pepper sauce for greens they also can be dried and used for ground red pepper.

These compact bushes also make excellent ornamental plants -they are COVERED with small (1 - 1.5 inch long) peppers from spring to frost. These are also suitable for growing in containers! Just a few of these plants will make TONS of peppers for your family and friends! Be prepared, these peppers are *HOT*HOT*HOT* !

The best ID I have been able to make on these is that they are a type of Serrano Pepper, Capsicum annuum. I've also heard these nick-named 'married peppers" (as opposed to 'bachelor" peppers) by some old-timers - apparently to do with their 'pendant" growing habit (I'll let you figure it out!).
