10+ Heirloom Florida Tropical Red (dark pink) Guava Fruit Tree Seeds (Psidium guajava). These are a large-fruited, meaty variety with fruits larger than a baseball but smaller than a softball. Planting instructions, including a color photo for seedling id, are included. These are fresh seeds that I have checked for germination with excellent results.
These trees are easy to grow and grow quite fast in a warm climate - hardy to zone 9b and warmer protect from freezing. They produce fruit in 3-4 years if well cared for. When ripe, the fruit is yellow on the outside and dark pink to deep red on the inside and can be used in jellies, jams or eaten raw. The fruits are very meaty, larger than a baseball and smaller than a softball.
Of course, you can enjoy the beautiful flowers these trees get each spring, as well! They thrive in full sun. sandy, well draining soil. While growing, they like consistent and frequent (daily or every other day) watering (but not standing water!).
Seeds germinate best in warm temps (80?F or higher). Full germination and growing instructions will be included with the seeds.
