Item Description:
This perennial is know as the Angel's Trumpet because of it's huge (8-10 long) trumpet shaped flowers that hang down from the heavens and put out a wonderful fragrance, especially in the evening. These bloom in profusion and repeatedly through the summer to first frost. This variety has has pink blooms.

These are hardy in zones 8-10 (some sources say hardy to zone 7b) and container grown in colder climates. They thrive in moist, fertile, well drained soil in full sun or part shade. They are very easy to grow and grow super fast - every gardeners dream! The bush can grow 10 - 12 feet tall I started mine from seed last year (thanks to Larry Smith for my first Brugmansia seeds!) and they were well over 6 feet tall by the end of their first growing season!

I suggest starting these in pots and setting out in the garden after last frost they also make a wonderful container plant on patios or decks. These are easy to propagate from seeds and cuttings. They don't like to be too wet, though, so make sure to use well draining soil and don't over water!

The plants/seeds/blooms are poisonous. All my seeds come from flowers that are open pollinated.

Just one more note:

PLEASE don't be confused by people that refer to 'Devil's Trumpets" as 'Angel's Trumpets" - they are NOT the same. To remember the difference, Angel's Trumpets (Brugrmansia) grow on more of a tree and the flowers hang down from the Angel's Devil's Trumpets (Datura) grow on more of a bush and their trumpets face upward from the Devil. I LOVE both of these plants, but they are NOT the same thing!)
