10+ Seeds. Purple Snail Vine Phaseolus Giganteus adenanthus.
Fast-growing, tender, semi-evergreen vine (will die back with a freeze or frost) with stems to 15-20" long. This heat loving, long-time garden favorite is loved for its quick-growing nature, lush-looking foliage and unique flower form. Soft, twining, rich-green foliage is accented with unique, spiraled, snail-like white buds opening to coiled, lavender-purple flowers that appear during the warmer months of the year, mostly in summer.
Well-suited for fences, trellises or arbors, as well as making a fine container specimen. Performs best with regular watering in a well-drained soil, and thrives in a full to partial sun exposure.
Unlike it's cousin the Corkscrew vine, these flowers have little, if any, fragrance.
