You are buying 5 Nice Big (1/2" - 1" long) bulbs (really these are croms or rhizomes more than bulbs) of Lucky Shamrock, Wood Sorrel (Oxalis Regnelli).  5 of these croms will fill an 8" pot.  If you want to share the LUCK OF THE IRISH with friends or family, larger quantities are available by clicking the drop down box at the top of the page.

This South African native is sometimes sold during March as the popular Shamrock Plant associated with St. Patrick's Day. But don't stop there continue to enjoy regnelli's gaiety through the year. Tuck regnelli on the side of a deck, in pots along a porch edge or indoors on a sunny windowsill. Place it where you can admire the attractive pinwheel leaves and the cool, clean, white flowers which seem to bloom year round.

These bloom from spring to fall (or all year long if you bring them inside!). Grow these in bright shade in the hottest zones full sun in cooler zones they are so easy to grow it will amaze you! Grow inside or out, they look great to fill in under taller plants (these will reach about 7" high) or as a container plant all on their own.
