10+ seeds for a hummingbird and butterfly favorite: Clerodendrum indicum which has common names of: Turk's Turban, Tubeflower, SkyRocket and Bowing Lady. Planting instructions will be included with the seeds.

Turk's turban is a semiwoody shrub or returning perennial, 6-9 ft tall and only slightly, if at all, branched. The stem is hollow and the leaves are elliptic and 6-8 inches long. Blooming in the fall, the flower cluster is huge, consisting of many tubular snow white flowers in a terminal cluster up to 2 ft long. The tubes of the flowers are about 8" - 12" long and droop downward. The hummingbirds and butterflies LOVE these blooms!

After the blooms, this plant gets fruits that are just as interesting and attractive as the flowers! The fruits range in color from a dark metalic blue to a deep green and are surrounded by red 'petals', making it look like it is blooming all over again late into the fall and even into the winter.

Light: Full sun to partial shade. Moisture:   Turk's Turban likes a moist but well-drained soil but will survive in dry conditions.

Like many perennials, these do not bloom the first year from seed, so they are not suitable to be grown as an annual in zones colder than zone 8.

Hardiness: USDA Zones 8 - 11. Propagation: Propagate tubeflower from seed, from root suckers, or from semiripe cuttings rooted in summer.

*Shipping within the USA is free on all orders of $6.00 or larger*
